Here's another update on the wheat. I keep getting different information from different people. Here is the latest from my sister-in-law, Sharon.
"Corrections and additions for the wheat. Jeannie Wilton said they are 50 lb bags not 60, (mistake). It is 15 % protein Red spring wheat, clean (earth material is removed) and organic. Checks are made out to Doug Baird. Hopes this helps. Sharon"
If you have questions or want verification call the numbers on the previous post.

Subject: Wheat
Dear Sisters,
Thanks for your help and attendance at the Women's Conference in April. I hope you enjoyed it and learned as much as I did!
Announcements:
Wheat Bargain
Sister Jeannie Wilton, the new RS President for the Stevensville 1st Ward, has learned of an opportunity for those of you who want a great deal on high quality wheat for your storage. The wheat is 15% protein (superior quality) and is being made available at $12 for a 60-pound bag. Compare this to The Good Food Store's 50-pound bag for $35. If any of your sisters wish to order this wheat, please contact Sister Wilton at 369-4344.
Left at the Women's Conference
Also, while cleaning up after the recent Stake Women's Conference, we discovered a 9X13 glass dessert dish and a collection of handouts and notes left behind. If your sisters are the ones missing these items, please have them contact me at 273-2960.
Thank you for spreading the word.
Sincerely,
Sheila Andreason
Note by Karren McLean: You can also place your wheat order with Jim Ames (642-3984 or 529-2109). He would like your orders by Monday, May 17 since the wheat is expected to be delivered Saturday, May 22 at either Corvallis or Stevensville. Brother Ames said this is high quality (15% protein), light, hard spring wheat that comes from a ranch north of Chinook, not far from the Canadian border.
